The moon is shining
Illuminates the sea
Shines the whole night long.
Light for an ungrateful world
Not much beauty to see
And it is never going to change.
Breaks through the clouds
Sends a sparkle to every raindrop
Looks down and tears betray.
Waits for the morning
When daylight wins the fight
I look back and the moon disappeared.
